The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be playing at Soldier Field in 2013, but they won't be facing the Chicago Bears. According to Brian Hamilton of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears' home stadium will host the 2013 Hockey City Classic, in which the Irish, Miami (Ohio) RedHawks, Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Golden Gophers will square off in a pair of February games.

Notre Dame will face Miami while Minnesota takes on Wisconsin in the two-game set. The details of the event are still pending, but the Chicago-based sports and entertainment marketing firm Intersport, which has arranged the event, will host a press conference at Soldier Field on Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. CDT.

The Irish hockey team finished the 2011-12 NCAA season with a 19-18-3 record, with a 12-13-3 record within Central Collegiate Hockey Association conference.
