Tour de France 2012 Results: Bradley Wiggins Takes Stage 9, Keeps Yellow Jersey

Fabian Cancellara had the lead for much of Monday's Stage 9 time trial, but yellow jersey-holder Bradley Wiggins had the advantage of starting at the end, and he didn't waste that opportunity. Wiggins blazed through the stage 57 seconds faster than Cancellara— who would end up finishing in third— and 35 seconds faster than Christopher Froome, who grabbed second place.

Wiggins' victory was more than enough for him to retain the yellow jersey. The riders will get a much needed day off on Tuesday.
