The Tour de France is maybe the most grueling competition in sports, but there are a few good things about riding a bike for 214.5 kilometers, as the competitors will do in Stage 4. For instance, you may just get to ride down the coast of France, which is exactly where Stage 4 will take riders as the 2012 Tour de France continues on Wednesday.

Stage 4 is a relatively flat stage, though it is one of the longest stages of the competition. The leg kicks off in Abbeville and quickly heads west before travelling down the coast of Normandy to Fécamp, where riders turn back inland and head towards the stage's finish line in Rouen.

Start time: 5:10 a.m. CT

Expected finish: 10:24 a.m. CT
