The USA -- in a tight medal race against China -- added another gold medal on Tuesday as Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Ricky Berens and Winnetka-native Connor Dwyer beat the field by three seconds to win the men's 4x200m freestyle relay.
Dwyer, who finished fifth in the men's 400m freestyle, swam the second leg of the relay, preserving the lead Ryan Lochte had given the American team in the first leg. Phelps finished off the relay with an impressive 53-second final split.
