Wimbledon Scores And Results: Serena Williams Advances To Semifinals After Defeating Petra Kvitova

Serena Williams faced a tough opponent in her women's quarterfinal match on Tuesday, but the No. 6 seed dispatched reigning champion Petra Kvitova in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) to advance to the Wimbledon semifinals. Williams won 86 percent of point on her first serve (31/36) and slapped 27 winners to just 10 unforced errors. Williams now awaits the winner of the match between No. 2 Victoria Azarenka and Tamira Paszek. On the other side of the Ladies' draw No. 15 Sabine Lisicki takes on No. 8 Angelique Kerber and No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska faces a red-hot No. 17 Maria Kirilenko.
