2012 Olympics Preview: US Athletes Ready For London

The 2012 London Olympics are almost here.

The 2012 Summer Olympics' opening ceremony is a week away, and there will be plenty of athletes at the games representing Illinois and/or the Chicago area, including Anthony Davis of the US men's basketball team. Some other notables include Swin Cash and Sylvia Fowles of the US women's basketball team, as well as swimmers Conor Dwyer and Matt Grevers.

Will the US men's basketball team defend its gold medal? How will swimming headliners Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte perform? Those are just a couple of the major storylines heading into the 2012 Olympics.
