According to ESPN Chicago, recent No. 1 draft pick F Anthony Davis has suffered a light ankle sprain, which likely means Davis will not be able to compete for a Team USA roster spot in the upcoming 2012 Olympics.
Davis, a native of Chicago, was the consensus No. 1 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He played one collegiate season with the Kentucky Wildcats, scoring over 550 points and collecting almost 300 rebounds in just 40 games with an average of 14.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
