The United States had no trouble against Great Britain in a 2012 Summer Olympics exhibition game on Thursday; the Americans had opened up a 13-point lead by the end of the first quarter, held an 18-point advantage at the break and eventually rolled to an 118-78 win over the British. The Americans led by as many as 47 points.
Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng scored 25 points for Great Britain to lead all scorers. He added four assists and four rebounds.
Six players scored in double figures for Team USA, led by Deron Williams and Carmelo Anthony, who both scored 19. LeBron James finished with 16 points and six rebounds, while Russell Westbrook scored 15 to go with nine assists.
