John Deere Classic: Troy Matteson Still Atop Leaderboard

Troy Matteson continues to sit atop the leaderboard in the third round of the 2012 John Deere Classic in Silvis, Ill.

Matteson has led for most of the tournament and has had a solid third round on Saturday, shooting 4-under through 13 holes for a score of 17-under for the tournament. He got off to a great start with three birdies in his first six holes.

But Steve Stricker, who has won the tournament in each of the last three years, is still on Matteson's tail. Going for his fourth straight title, Stricker is tied for second at 15-under for the tournament. He is 5-under on the day through 16 holes. Stricker is tied with Brian Harman, who is 3-under through 14 holes.

Some other notables near the top include Zach Johnson (-14) and Chris DiMarco (-12).
