John Deere Classic Leaderboard: Troy Matteson Leads By One Stroke After Friday

Troy Matteson is still holding the lead at the John Deere Classic with a score of 12-under, but he certainly has some company in his rear-view mirror.

Jeff Maggert and Brian Harman are tied for second after two rounds, with an overall score of 12-under. Maggert played tremendous golf on Friday, shooting a 9-under 62 including a scoreboard that didn't reveal even a single bogey. Harman has been more consistent, again shooting a 65 to stay right in the mix.

Ricky Barnes, Gary Christian, J.J Henry and Robert Garrigus are all tied at 10-under for third place, only two shots off the pace of Matteson.

Steve Stricker, who has won the event each of the past three years, is in good position to make it a fourth straight title. The American is only three shots off the lead after shooting a 4-under on Friday afternoon.

With such a staked field towards the top, the weekend should be quite entertaining.
