Tour de France 2012, Prologue: Route, TV Coverage, Video And More

The Prologue, which is a short individual time trial that takes place in Liege, Belgium, kicks off the 2012 Tour de France on Saturday. The winner of the Prologue gets the honor of wearing the yellow jersey for the official opening of the race.

The Prologue spans a little over six kilometers, and the riders will not leave Liege. For maps and additional information on this time trial, visit the official Tour de France website.
