It still appears as though the Chicago White Sox are most likely to acquire veteran former World Series champion Kevin Youkilis. According to reports, some of the other teams in consideration for Youkilis' services include the Indians, Dodgers. Diamondbacks and Pirates.
Sources: #Indians "longshot" for Youkilis. #Dodgers minimal contact with #RedSox today. Signs point to #WhiteSox, #Pirates or another club.

The trade rumors on Youkilis go back a few days, when it was reported that the Red Sox would be willing to consider a cash deal. As Ricky O'Donnell noted earlier Saturday, Youkilis was one of the best hitters in baseball from 2008-10, posting an OPS of .959 or higher in three consecutive seasons. But his production has decline significantly since.
