2012 US Open Leaderboard Update: Woods, Furyk And Toms Maintain Advantage

As the final groups of the day continue to prepare to take on The Olympic Club, the course is once again proving how difficult it can be. Extreme temperatures in the Bay Area are setting the players up for an incredibly difficult weekend, which will make the final two rounds even more intriguing.

The current low score of the third round belongs to Casey Wittenberg, who finished with a 67. He is one of four golfers who have shot in the 60's on Saturday. Lee Westwood and Retief Goosen have made some noise as well, with both guys shooting -2 in their first nine holes on the course. This hot start has propelled both golfers into a tie for 9th and just four strokes behind the leaders.

Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms lead the way at -1 through two rounds. They are all set to tee-off in the next 45 minutes.
