The Olympic Club course in San Francisco frustrated plenty of talented golfers in 2012 U.S. Open action on Thursday, and former Northwestern golfer Luke Donald is hoping to rebound after shooting 7-over in Round 1. He is chasing tournament leader Michael Thompson (4-under) and current favorite Tiger Woods (1-under) , so a strong start in Round 2 would go a long way.
Donald tees off at 9:44 a.m. from hole No. 9 with defending champion Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood. Meanwhile, Woods will hit the links with Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson at 3:18 p.m. from the first hole. Here is a look at some notable tee times and pairings:
