The second edition of SB Nation's BlogPoll rankings were released on Wednesday afternoon as we all anxiously await the beginning of this year's college football season, with mostly minor changes along the way for most teams. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are ranked No. 24 on the list, one spot up from the previous edition that had them at No. 25.
College football bloggers from across the SB Nation network come together every season to create these rankings, which are featured in that post along with numerous details about the voting that helped to create the list. The Irish moved up one spot from the previous rankings that were released after the National Championship in January.
Additionally, LSU has jumped past USC for the top ranking on the new list after the Trojans snagged the No. 1 spot on the initial preseason list.
