2012 Kentucky Derby Video: I'll Have Another Passes Bosemeister For Derby Win

The 2012 Kentucky Derby came down to the final stretch, as 12-1 underdog I'll Have Another rallied in the final 300 yards to pass Bodemeister and become the first horse in Derby history to win from the 19-post. Jockey Mario Gutierrez won the Derby in his debut at the race.

Bodemeister led throughout the race and ran at a great pace throughout. However, the horse began to fade down the stretch, which allowed I'll Have Another to charge and pass over the final 300 yards. Dullahan also made a late push, but couldn't quite catch Bodemeister.

Union Rags was the favorite entering the race, but got boxed in early and wasn't able to make much of an impact, finishing in 7th place.
