Scott Powers of ESPN Chicago is reporting that the Ill.-Chicago Flames have acquired a pair of junior college players. SG/SF Jordan Lankster (6-foot-5) and C Carlos Henderson (6-foot-9) join the Flames from Oklahoma's Murray State junior college.
According to UIC head coach Howard Moore, the two transfers should offer some instant upgrades to the Flames:
"Jordan and Carlos are two tremendous additions to our team and our program," Moore said in a statement. "They come to UIC with some very valuable experience at Murray State College under head coach Randy Rutherford. I expect both Jordan and Carlos to immediately contribute to our team next season."
Lankster and Henderson both have two years of eligibility remaining.
