NBA Draft 2012: Anthony Davis Reacts To Hornets Winning Lottery

Upon hearing that the New Orleans Hornets had won the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery, the consensus No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft observed the intriguing parallel in his expected return to the Big Easy. According to Chicago native Anthony Davis, a return to New Orleans should be a return to success:

"I won a national championship in New Orleans, so why not win another one in New Orleans?" said Davis...

"I just have to buy into what they're doing and work my hardest," said Davis, as his friends and family gathered at a Dudley's Restaurant in downtown Lexington to watch the lottery on ESPN.

Davis played one season for the Kentucky Wildcats, scoring an average of 14.2 points per game, while collecting an average of 10.4 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per game -- en route to winning the NCAA Tournament championship.
