Kentucky Wildcats forward and Chicago's very own Anthony Davis was named AP Player of the Year on Friday. On Saturday, he'll lead the Wildcats into the Final Four against Louisville. It's certainly been a successful freshman season for the Chicago native Davis, and when it's all said and done, he'll likely enter the NBA Draft. Davis is unanimously considered to be the top overall prospect.
While Davis has yet to state his intentions to leave Kentucky, all signs point to the forward jumping to the next level. Our Tom Ziller has pegged Davis No. 1 in his most recent haiku-based mock draft for SB Nation.

Anthony Davis:
the big unibrow that could
(get Cal a title?).
Davis will presumably be the second Chicago native to go No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft in the last five years. Former Simeon guard Derrick Rose was the top selection in the 2008 draft.
