McDonald's All-American Game Recap: Shabazz Muhammad Leads West To 106-102 Win

Those unfamiliar with the name Shabazz Muhammad likely know it tonight after the shooting guard's performance in the McDonald's All-American Game, held for the second straight year at the United Center. Muhammad was named the game's MVP and scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half. The West defeated the East 106-102.

Muhammad is projected to be among the top picks in the 2013 NBA Draft, though he still hasn't officially chose a college. Muhammad is set to announce his decision soon, with many pegging the UCLA Bruins as a possible favorite for the Nevada native's services.

Duke recruit Rasheed Sulaimon added 18 points for the West.

Kyle Anderson, bound for UCLA, scored 13 points for the East. Alex Poythress, the latest big name recruit John Calipari has pushed to Kentucky, scored 19 points and fouled out.
