Derrick Rose Has A Sweet New Condo Atop Trump Tower

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose was no happy camper last night following his team's 104-99 victory over the New York Knicks, ripping the officiating to reporters after the game and openly wondering what he has to do to get more foul calls. Today, we get a piece of news that should cheer up our homegrown superstar considerably.

According to multiple reports, Rose has bought a new home. He paid $2.8 million for a three-bedroom condo on the upper floors of Trump Tower, Chicago's latest riverside skyscraper.

From Chicago Real Estate Daily:

Mr. Rose, who said he "fell in love" with the tower after spending three weeks in a hotel room there last summer, chose Trump because "no one bothers you there."

Yes, that would be our reigning MVP, alright.

Rose signed a $95 million extension with the Bulls prior to the season and inked a $185 million endorsement deal with adidas just weeks ago.

He'll be in good company at Trump Tower: Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane also lives in the same building. Given the drastically different personalities between the two star athletes, we think this could have the makings of an entertaining reality show.
