The No. 20 Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel to take on the St. John's Red Storm under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame has been playing terrific basketball of late and are currently riding a nine-game winning streak. Away from Purcell Pavilion the Irish are just 5-7 -- including 5-3 in true away games and 0-4 on neutral courts -- but this is a great opportunity to pick up an important road win in the Big East against a struggling team.
St. John's has lost four of their last six games, but they are riding a two-game winning streak as they head into Saturday's matchup. They are led by freshman guard D'Angelo Harrison, scores a team-high 16.9 points per game and shoots 37.4% from beyond the three-point line. His running mate is freshman swingman Moe Harkless, who adds 15.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Game date, time: 11:00 PM CT, Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012
Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
TV: ESPN2, ESPN3
