The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lead 30-28 over the West Virginia Mountaineers going into halftime on Wednesday night. The Irish, ranked No. 20 in the nation, trailed early in the half but slowly they've taken the advantage in what's been a close game thus far.
The Mountaineers scored the game's first four points and led 17-11 nearly midway through the half, but the Fighting Irish proceeded to go on a 18-9 run from there. Despite the fact that Notre Dame is shooting 63 percent from the field while West Virginia is shooting just 41 percent, the lead is just two going into the half.
Jack Cooley leads Notre Dame with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting and four rebounds, while Eric Atkins put up six points and six assists. Darryl Bryant was extremely active for West Virginia, putting up 10 points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals.
