DePaul Vs. St. John's Final Score: St. John's Downs The Blue Demons

DePaul fell short in its bid for consecutive Big East wins on Wednesday night when St. John's defeated the Blue Demons 87-81 at Allstate Arena in Chicago. The Demons led by one at half, but a St. John's caught fire from the field in the second half and DePaul simply couldn't keep up.

Guard D'Angelo Harrison was incredible, scoring 29 points on 8-of-19 shooting, including 7-of-11 from three-point range. God'sgift Achiuwa went 7-of-7 from the floor to finish with 15 points and five rebounds. Phil Greene scored 14 and Amir Garrett scored 12 for St. John's in the win.

DePaul was led by Cleveland Melvin, who scored a team-high 22 points. Moses Morgan added 19 points, while Brandon Young had 13 points and 11 assists.

The loss drops DePaul to 11-10 on the season, while the Red Storm improve to 10-12.
