College Hockey schedule 2012: Notre Dame hosts Michigan State this weekend

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish host Michigan State this weekend, hoping to extend a three-game winning streak.

The No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Michigan State Spartans for games Friday and Saturday at the Compton Family Ice Arena. Both games start at 7 p.m.

Notre Dame comes into the series with an 11-4-0 record. The Irish have won three straight games overall and own a five-game CCHA winning streak. The team has been led by Anders Lee, who has 10 goals and five assists. He leads the team in goals and points. Three players have 12 points each this season -- Jeff Costello (five goals, seven assists), Robbie Russo (four goals, eight assists) and Bryan Rust (four goals, eight assists).

Goalie Steven Summerhays is 9-4 with a 1.57 goals against average this season. He has a .936 save percentage.

Michigan State comes into the series with a 4-8-2 record. The Spartans have been led by Matt Berry, who has seven goals, six assists and 13 points.

Michigan State beat Notre Dame at Notre Dame 4-2 last February.
