After an embarrassing 120-97 loss to the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day, the Chicago Bulls are looking for a bit of redemption. They should get it when the NBA's worst team comes to the United Center on Saturday night.
That team is the Washington Wizards, who enter their contest in Chicago with an NBA-worst 4-23 record overall. The Wizards have lost eight of their last 10 games, although they did get a win against Orlando on Friday night.
Meanwhile it will be Chicago's first game action since Christmas Day, after Wednesday's match-up with the Indiana Pacers was postponed due to a snowstorm.
And entering Saturday, the Bulls will not only be rested, but should be healthy as well with the expected return of guard Richard Hamilton. Hamilton has missed the Bulls' last 12 games with a sprained foot, but averaged 13.9 points in the 15 contests he played earlier in the season. Luol Deng is also expected to suit up for the Bulls after tweaking his ankle on Christmas Day against the Rockets.
Game-time is set for 7 p.m. CT and can be seen locally on WGN.
