The Chicago Bulls came away from their weekend road series with a split after defeating the New York Knicks on Friday night and falling to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
Chicago Bulls 110, New York Knicks 106
Luol Deng led the Bulls with a double-double in a night highlighted by technicals and ejections. Deng scored 29 points and added 13 points, while Joakim Noah, who was ejected along with Knicks center Tyson Chandler after a scuffle late in the game, had 15 points and 12 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony was ejected earlier in the game after picking up his second technical on a hard shooting foul. He scored 29 points in 37 minutes.
Atlanta Hawks 92, Chicago Bulls 75
The Hawks had little trouble with Chicago Saturday on a night when the Bulls were seemingly unable to score. Luol Deng led the Bulls with 11 points, and Joakim Noah, with 10 points, was the only other player in double digits. Atlanta rolled behind Al Horford's 20-point, 10-rebound effort.
