The Chicago Bulls head into a two-game Christmas week at 15-11, good enough for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Tuesday, Dec. 25, 8:00 p.m. ET
Houston Rockets at Chicago Bulls
The Christmas Day matchup in Chicago will feature the NBA's top scoring offense against the NBA's third-best scoring defense. James Harden leads the way for the touted Houston offense, averaging 25.6 points per game. Jeremy Lin has also contributed with 11.7 points and 6.2 assists.
Omer Asik will return to the United Center for the first time since joining the Rockets. Asik enjoyed two seasons as a part of the Bulls' "bench mob" before signing with Houston. He is averaging 11.4 rebounds per game this season.
Wednesday, Dec. 26, 7:00 p.m. ET
Chicago Bulls at Indiana Pacers
The Bulls will have to quickly adjust this week from the league's top offense to the league's top defense, a claim the Indiana Pacers currently hold as they allow on average only 89.9 points per game. This matchup will also feature two teams absent of their top player--Derrick Rose for the Bulls and Danny Granger for the Pacers.
Joakim Noah will have his hands full inside against David West and Roy Hibbert, who average 8.1 and 8.2 rebounds per game, respectively. West also leads Indiana in scoring with 17.4 points per game.
