College Hockey schedule 2012: Notre Dame heads to Bowling Green on Saturday

The Irish look to continue their win streak.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish head to Bowling Green, Ohio this weekend to face the Falcons, hoping to extend their win streak to six.

Last week, the Irish had back-to-back wins over Michigan State. While junior forward Anders Lee didn't find the net, he's been a reliable scorer for Notre Dame this season. His eleven goals in seventeen games is tied for second in Division I hockey. Meanwhile, Steve Summerhays has been one of one the best goaltenders, as the junior is fifth with a .937 save percentage.

The Bowling Green Falcons aren't having similar success this season. Ranked 53rd in offense, an inability to score is a large reason why they have only won five games this season. Turning to freshman goaltender Tommy Burke, they're hoping to get some reliable production -- but with 15 goals allowed in seven games, it's not clear if the Falcons are getting what they hoped.
