The Chicago Bulls have been without their star point guard Derrick Rose since he tore his ACL in the playoffs in April of this year. Rose hasn't spoken much publicly since his injury and hasn't frequented the United Center for Bulls home games either. Although we haven't seen too much of Derrick Rose for much of 2012, he's still hard at work trying to get back on the court.
Rose spoke to the media while handing out presents to Chicago children with parents deployed overseas or children in Chicago Housing Authority homes.
I'm feeling good right now. I'm working out six times a week and I'm trying to get on the court as soon as possible. Everything's going pretty good.
Rose is still likely a few weeks from returning to practice with no timetable on his return to game action. The Bulls have been doing alright without him, winning five of their last six games and sit in fourth place in the Eastern conference. They've got two big games this week, facing the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday before heading to the City of Brotherly Love on Wednesday for a match-up with the Philadelphia 76ers.
