SBNation's weekly Blogpoll is out for Week 10 of the 2012 college football season. Northwestern makes its first appearance in the Top 25 of the year, and Notre Dame held onto the fourth spot after beating Pittsburgh 29-26 in three overtimes on Saturday.
Northwestern moved up seven spots in the Blogpoll after beating Nobody last Saturday, during a bye week for the Wildcats. Northwestern plays Michigan in the Big House this coming Saturday at noon ET. With a win, Northwestern will tie Michigan in the Big Ten's Legends Division with a 4-2 record.
Notre Dame needed three overtimes to beat a middling Pittsburgh team last Saturday, but they didn't move in the Blogpoll, as other undefeated teams near the top of the rankings had struggles in their Week 10 games. The Fighting Irish visit Boston College this Saturday, with a 8 p.m. ET kickoff.
Other Big Ten teams in the Blogpoll are Ohio State (No. 7) and Nebraska (No. 17). Northern Illinois earned itself some votes in the poll, but was not ranked.
