The Chicago Bears looked like a shaky team for the first couple weeks, relying on huge fourth quarters to win their games, but now they've evolved into one of the NFL's elite. They just put up 51 points on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and analysts are riding high on Chicago, especially when it comes to the weekly power rankings.
Joel Thorman of SB Nation released his Week 10 power rankings, and he has the Bears as the No. 3 team in the NFL, up one spot from last week.
3. Chicago Bears (LW: 4, 7-1): Obama thinks they have the best defense in football. No one has scored more than 23 points on them in a game this season. Hosting the Texans and then on the road in San Francisco over the next two weeks will let us know whether the Bears are very good or elite.
ESPN echoes the sentiments, with the Bears at No. 3, but they are up two spots from where they were a week ago. CBS Sports does them one better, having them at No. 2 in the league, ahead of the Houston Texans, but below the undefeated Atlanta Falcons. FOX Sports has them at No. 3, below the aforementioned Texans.
