The Chicago Bears earned their praise Sunday with a dominating defensive performance, but instead of soaking in the acclamation, the Bears instead gave some applause of their own to their fans.

Sunday's game took place in Nashville, but there was no shortage of Bears fans in attendance. According to the Chicago Tribune, linebacker Brian Urlacher took notice of the outstanding support his team receives on the road.

It's amazing. Dallas, Jacksonville, here, the only time it's not like that is in a division games. That's when it doesn't happen. It's fun going on the road when the crowds are like this.

The Bears certainly gave their traveling fans something to cheer about. Urlacher returned an interception for a touchdown, cornerback Sherrick McManis blocked a punt which was recovered for a touchdown and the Chicago Bears defense forced four fumbles on their way to a 52-20 victory.

Quarterback Jay Cutler was also complimentary of the fans, saying their support is making this 2012 season "fun".

They've traveled well. Hats off to our fans, it's been a fun year. . .You know you have a ton of fans when you're in an away stadium in the red zone and I'm trying to get the crowd to hush up and they're responding. They got quiet in a hurry, so it makes it fun.

The Chicago Bears moved to 7-1 after the victory. They now prepare to face another 7-1 team - the AFC best Houston Texans - next Sunday night.
