UMass Vs. Northern Illinois 2012: Game Time, TV Schedule, Odds And More

Northern Illinois tries to stay undefeated in the MAC against winless UMass.

The Northern Illinois Huskies (8-1, 5-0 MAC) try to stay undefeated in the MAC as they host the UMass Minutemen (0-8, 0-4 MAC) at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday. The game will not be televised.

Northern Illinois has won eight straight games after losing its season-opener to Iowa. The Huskies are led by dual-threat quarterback Jordan Lynch. Lynch has completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,984 yards, 17 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has rushed for 1,185 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Seven of eight losses for UMass are by double-figures and the team has been out-scored 125-21 over the last three games. UMass is led by quarterback Mike Wegzyn, who has 1,204 yards and four touchdowns with seven interceptions. He's completing just 52 percent of his passes. Running back Michael Cox has 488 rushing yards and three touchdowns and wide receiver Deion Walker has 475 yards and two touchdowns.

Northern Illinois is favored by 36 points.
