No. 6 Notre Dame will host No. 7 North Dakota this weekend for a pair of games to highlight the weekend college hockey schedule. The Fighting Irish (8-3-0) moved up two spots in this week's rankings while the Fighting Sioux (5-3-2) dropped a spot.
Among other highly anticipated games is a northeast showdown in Boston. No. 11 Dartmouth travels to top-rated Boston College for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday. The Eagles (9-1-0) are a near-unanimous No. 1 in this week's poll with 47 out of a possible 50 first-place votes.
No. 2 Denver (9-1-0) will try to move into the No. 1 spot if Boston College trips up by hosting a pair of New England teams. Denver hosts Vermont on Friday and New Hampshire on Saturday.
No. 3 New Hampshire could also make a claim for the No. 1 ranking if it beats Denver on Saturday. They play at Colorado College on Friday before traveling to Denver.
