Already set to play for the 2012 Mid-American Conference Championship next week, the Northern Illinois Huskies will try to wrap up an undefeated regular season conference record on Friday against the Eastern Michigan Eagles.
The Huskies have reeled off 10 consecutive wins after falling to Iowa in their season opener, and managed to slide past a talented Toledo squad last week to officially punch their ticket to the MAC title game. Northern Illinois will hope to pick up yet another strong performance from dual-threat quarterback Jordan Lynch in their season finale.
Still only a junior, the 6'0", 215-pound Lynch has tossed 22 touchdowns compared to just four interceptions through the air this season, and also leads the entire MAC with 1,504 yards rushing. Currently the unquestioned frontrunner for MAC Player of the Year, Lynch's 569 yards of total offense in Week 12 represented a career-high and may very well be a sign of things to come.
Where: Rynearson Stadium, Ypsilanti, Mich.
Game time: noon ET
TV channel: ESPN3
Spread: Northern Illinois -19.5
