Fantasy football owners in possession of Chicago Bears' running backs Matt Forte and Reggie Bush have enjoyed success this season. With Chicago facing the Tennessee Titans and their porous run defense this week, Forte and Bush should continue to make owners happy.
At 3-5, the Titans have been abysmal on the defensive side of the ball. Tennessee ranks 30th in total defense and has faced the second-most plays in the NFL this year. The Titans' ineptitude certainly does not exclude the run defense. Tennessee ranks 28th in the league, allowing 139.2 yards per game, and 22nd, allowing 4.4 yards per carry. Those numbers bode well for owners of Forte and Bush.
Both Bears' running backs have been solid this season, ranking in the NFL's top 20 in yards per game and yards per carry. Forte ranks 14th in both categories, averaging 72.7 and 4.6. With 70.4 and 4.4, Bush ranks 16th in each category. The Titans give up a rushing touchdown per game on average, so it appears to be a safe bet that at least one of the Chicago backs will find the end zone.
With Chicago's passing game struggling – 195.6 yards per game, 30th in the NFL – Forte and Bush should have a field day against the Titans.
