Recently waived Bulls center Kyrylo Fesenko will be heading to Atlanta for a tryout on Tuesday. On Monday, Fesenko tweeted the following message:
About to go to the airport. Heading to Atlanta for the Tuesday tryout. A little concerned about the hurricane. Wish me luck! ;-)

The 7'1 center from Ukraine was invited by the Bulls to training camp on a non-guaranteed contract in late September, but was cut by the team on Oct. 18. Fesenko had said he wanted to be in Chicago, but the Bulls had wanted to sign Malcolm Thomas instead.
If the Hawks choose not to sign Fesenko, there is still the possibility that he returns to the Bulls later this season. Marc Stein stated that Chicago does not have enough cap room for Fesenko at the moment, but will have enough space after Nov. 19. The Bulls are under the hard salary cap restriction after using a part of their mid-level exception to bring back Kirk Hinrich.
