The Northern Illinois Huskies rolled over the Akron Zips Saturday, 37-7, behind the effort of quarterback Jordan Lynch.
Lynch finished the day 20-of-33 for 223 yards and two touchdowns passing, however, he did most of his damage on the ground, rushing 20 times for 131 and two touchdowns. He accounted for all four Northern Illinois' touchdowns.
Lynch now has more than 1,000 yards rushing on the season. According to Mike Breese of SB Nation's Northern Illinois blog, Red and Black Attack, history was made Saturday for the Huskies, but somehow, it was not centered around the junior quarterback Lynch.
