Northwestern vs. Nebraska score: Wildcats lead 14-10 at halftime

Nebraska has out-gained Northwestern in the first half, but their lead is just 10-7 because of three turnovers.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers trail the Northwestern Wildcats 14-10 at halftime of Saturday's game despite nearly doubling Northwestern's total yardage in the half.

Nebraska's offense has been impressive, accumulating 194 yards of total offense, but three lost fumbles have allowed Northwestern scoring opportunities.

Nebraska took a 10-7 lead when Taylor Martinez found Kenny Bell for a 37-yard touchdown with 9:09 left in the half. Nebraska held that lead until the final two minutes, when Northwestern quarterback Trevor Siemian threw a 27-yard touchdown to Tony Jones to take a 14-10 lead.

Siemian also threw a touchdown pass in the first quarter to Dan Vitale. Siemian is 9-for-17 for 60 yards. Jones has three catches for 37 yards. Venric Mark has nine carries for 21 yards.

Martinez is 12-for-17 for 156 yards and a touchdown. He also has 23 rushing yards. Bell has caught three passes for 50 yards and Ameer Abdullah has seven carries for 42 yards. Both Bell and Abdullah have also lost fumbles in the half.
