The Chicago Bears, fresh off a Week 6 bye, are early favorites to win their Week 7 Monday night matchup against the visiting Detroit Lions. According to OddsShark, Chicago opened up as six-point favorites against their NFC North divisional foe.

The Bears (4-1) enter Week 7 with a half-game lead atop the division over the Minnesota Vikings (4-2), who dropped a 38-26 contest to the Washington Redskins on Sunday at FedEx Field. Chicago's last game was a 41-3 throttling of the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

The Lions (2-3) posted an impressive 26-23 overtime victory on the road in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles, rallying from 10 points down late in the fourth quarter to tie the game and eventually score the overtime win.

This will be the first matchup between the Bears and Lions since a 37-13 Chicago rout of Detroit last year marred by chippy play. Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and Bears defensive back D.J. Moore got into an altercation in the game, as did Detroit defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler.
