The Chicago Bulls are conducting their media day on Monday, and among the announcements, they announced the signing of five new free agents to round out the roster. The names announced, via Twitter, are Ryan Allen, Vance Cooksey, Andre Emmett, Kyrylo Fesenko and Marko Jaric. Two of them, Emmet and Fesenko, were previously reported as members of the squad prior to the announcement.

Jaric is the biggest name from the three who had gone unreported. He hasn't been in the NBA since the 2008-09 season, as noted by SB Nation's Blog A Bull. He's been playing overseas since that point. Allen is the brother of Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen, and is a rookie out of UW-Milwaukee, while Cooksey is a guard who spent last season in the D-League.

After Monday's media day, the team will get their first practice of training camp underway on Tuesday. The roster presently stands at 18 players, though it will need to be reduced to 15 in the end. That would mean someone like Nate Robinson needs to be cut or traded, so all five of these players are a longshot to make the roster.
