No. 9 Notre Dame faces off with the Miami Hurricanes at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL Saturday in a revival of the "Catholics versus Convicts" rivalry.

The Fighting Irish enter Saturday's contest undefeated and with their highest ranking in the Brian Kelly era. No. 9 Notre Dame has defeated Navy, Purdue, Michigan St. and Michigan so far this season.

The Miami Hurricanes are 4-1 following their recent victory over NC State. The Hurricanes rank 15th in the country in passing offense but will face a tough test with the touted defense of Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish have allowed an average of only nine points per game, good enough for third best in FBS.

Starting quarterback Everett Golson is 50-of-89 for 641 yards and three touchdowns for Notre Dame this season, with Tommy Rees producing in the backup role as well, completing 11-of-17 passes for 150 yards in limited time.

Miami quarterback Stephen Morris is in the midst of a wildly productive 2012 season. He has completed 124-of-207 passes for 1635 yards and nine touchdowns.
