The White Sox look to keep their postseason hopes alive against the Indians

The Chicago White Sox have their postseason hopes on life support, and they will need to sweep the Indians and receive some help from the Kansas City Royals.

Their first step toward staying alive comes Monday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland. Hector Santiago will take to the mound for the White Sox. In 9.1 career innings against the Indians, he is 1-0 with an ERA of 4.82 and 10 strikeouts.

The Indians will send out Corey Kluber on the bump, as he enters the game with a 2-4 mark with an ERA of 5.02. He has had the White Sox mark in 8 career innings. He is 1-0 with an ERA of 2.25 with eight strikeouts.

The White Sox are desperately looking for some help offensively. They are hitting just .221 in their last over their last 15 games including a lowly mark of .164 against left-handed pitching.
