NCAA Basketball Rankings: Illinois Unranked, But Receives Votes

The new ESPN and AP Top 25 NCAA basketball rankings are out, but no Chicago area teams have made the cut.

A fresh set of NCAA basketball rankings have been released on Monday, but not a single team from the SB Nation Chicago region is ranked in the Top 25. The Illinois Illini are the only team receiving votes for the Top 25. In the AP poll the Illini received four votes while in the ESPN poll the Illini also received just four votes.
