Illinois, Northwestern, and DePaul each play one game this week.

The last week was not to our local college basketball teams. Illinois entered the week at No. 25, but lost a heartbreaker against Wisconsin on Sunday. Northwestern lost road games at Wisconsin and Minnesota. DePaul lost a home game to South Florida.

A new week brings a new set of challenges, so let's take a look at the week ahead for the Illini, Wildcats and Blue Demons.

Purdue was crushed 82-58 at Michigan State in their last game, but wild winter weather conditions delayed the Boilermakers' trip and added a unique degree of a difficulty. Purdue is 14-6 and 4-3 in the Big 10.

Rutgers enters at 11-9, 3-4 in the Big East. They coming off a two point loss to No. 12 Georgetown. Freshman guard leads the Scarlet Knights in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game.
