The Chicago Bears have reached their 53 man roster after a series of cuts on Saturday. Among those cut included veterans Chester Taylor, Desmond Clark, and Marcus Harrison.
↵None of the veterans cut were a huge surprise. Taylor had a poor 2010 campaign and showed nothing in the preseason. The writing on the wall came when the Bears added Marion Barber in the offseason. Desmond Clark is a well liked teammate but his best days are behind him and the Bears have better options at TE. Marcus Harrison seemed to always have potential but had problems staying in shape every season and the Bears seemed ready to move on.
↵Other cuts included Robert Hughes, Kris Adams, Andre Smith, Ricky Henry, Levi Horn, Jordan Miller, Patrick Trahan, and Anthony Walters.
↵Other moves can still be made including the formation of the practice squad on Sunday. The Bears can also look at players who were released by other players.
