Cubs Win Home Finale, Go Over 3 Million In Attendance

The Cubs ended their 2011 home schedule on Wednesday with a 7-1 victory over the first-place Milwaukee Brewers. Matt Garza threw a complete game for the Cubs to send their home fans off on a winning note.

For the eighth season in a row the Cubs went over 3 million fans. Only the Cardinals, Angels, and Yankees have drawn that many fans over that time span.

The Cubs selected fan Donna Brookshire as the honorary three millionth fan. Brookshire was given a jersey and got to throw out the first pitch.

Only one week left in the 2011 season for the Cubs. They are off Thursday and then travel to St. Louis for three and will finish next week in San Diego.
