Casey Coleman Faces Off Against Astros

After Carlos Marmol ended Tuesday's game against Houston by yielding a walk-off grand slam, the Cubs will try to rebound in a Wednesday matinee game that pits Casey Coleman against Bud Norris.

Coleman, 2-4 with a 7.23 ERA and 1.94 WHIP, last started July 4th against the Nationals. In that game he threw 5.1 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk, while striking out five. In his career against the Astros, Coleman is 1-0 with a 2.77 ERA and 1.54 WHIP.

Bud Norris, 5-8 with a 3.55 ERA and 1.31 WHIP, will take the mound for Houston. Norris is coming off of a start against the Dodgers, in which he threw 7.0 shutout innings, yielding just two hits and four walks, while striking out eight. In his last game against the Cubs, Norris earned the loss, after throwing 6.1 innings, giving up four runs (one earned) on eight hits, while striking out five. This year, both Aramis Ramirez and Alfonso Soriano are 2-for-3 against Norris, with home runs.

The weather in Houston is forecast to be sunny and clear, with a game time temperature in the upper 90's. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on WGN and my20-HD.
