White Sox Trade Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahen

Kenny Williams has done it again. Just when you thought nobody would take Mark Teahen and his contract, Williams pulls off a trade to get rid of the IF/OF.

The White Sox traded Edwin Jackson and Mark Teahen to the Toronto Blue Jays for pitchers Jason Frasor and Zach Stewart. This trade will save the Sox about $9 million over the next season and a half.

↵

Frasor is 2-1 this season with an ERA of 2.98. The Oak Forest native will be a nice addition to the Sox Bullpen.

↵

Zach Stewart has pitched some for the Blue Jays this season and is 0-1 with an ERA of 4.86. Stewart will start his White Sox career at Triple-A Charlotte.

The White Sox have also recalled Alejandro De Aza to take Teahen’s spot on the roster.
